        My 6-year-old grandson has attended a couple of "PowWows", and he has a friend who participates in them. He wanted some moccasins similar to those his friend wears to the PowWows, intending to wear them to school daily, as well as to those special occasions. I felt he was unlikely to find the higher-cut boot-type moccasin comfortable for our warm climate, but he rejected the idea of slip-on moccasins, so I scoured the internet looking for an acceptable compromise.
