Outside: Clean with a soft, damp cloth. Try a suede eraser to remove scuff marks or dirt. We suggest using a leather water repellant/stain guard. Washing: Hand wash in lukewarm water with a non-enzyme liquid soap designed specifically for leather products. Dry naturally using a towel - do not use a heater or blow dryer.

but, if your guy can get past looking girley, in foo foo fuzzy slippers - these will be his new best friends.
Also, if buying American made is important, you will find these slippers to be well conconstructed, with quality materiels, at a price near what you would pay for an imported slipper.
