Nightlights and slippers have been used together for so many years that it's surprising no one had tried combining them before. That's the idea Doug Vick had one night when he bumped into his bedpost after grabbing a glass of water.
Vick, CEO of Scentco and Boston Ideas, realized how useful slippers with headlights could be, and after a year of development, Brightfeet lighted slippers were born.

How Brightfeet Lighted Slippers Work
The brilliance of Vick's design is that the slippers don't require an on/off switch. Brightfeet lighted slippers contain sensors that permit the LED (light-emitting diode) in each slipper to shine only if it's dark and only if you're wearing the slippers. A built-in timer keeps the LEDs on for a few seconds after you step out of the slippers, permitting you to crawl into bed without accident.
The ability to carry your nightlight with you is an obvious advantage of Brightfeet lighted slippers. An LED is located in the front of each slipper, and is angled upward for efficient light projection. These LEDs are surprisingly bright, illuminating a 20 to 25 foot space ahead of the wearer. The lights are powered by two replaceable lithium batteries included in your Brightfeet lighted slippers purchase.

The Benefits of Brightfeet Lighted Slippers
Aside from the usual slip-on comfort that slippers provide, Brightfeet lighted slippers offer a few unique advantages. They're perfect for middle-of-the-night trips to the kitchen or bathroom. Finding flashlights or matches during a power outage is also much easier with illuminated slippers.
Brightfeet lighted slippers come in a scuff or open-backed style, and are available in three unisex sizes, large, medium, and small.
