However there are 3 options for soles none of which are perfect. These aren't right for wet ground or sidewalks. The "nubby" driving soles are uncomfortable and the polyethelene hard soles (the worst) click like a typewriter when you walk.

Shoes felt a little small. I had another pair of mid-top mocs from the same place and they fit much more true to size. I'd like to get a pair of outdoor mocs with a tougher buttom with getting a nubby bottom like Minnetonka's. I would recommend but I'd be wary about the sizing.

    Slippers will be worn from Spring through most of the Winter. They are very comfortable. They run a little small so I had to return them and purchase a size up.

          I normally wear a 'B' width. These slippers come in 2 widths so I ordered a regular. Normally that means a 'D' width. These slippers were to narrow!

          My other option was wide.

          Got these for my dad for Christmas. He has worn deerskin Minnetonka's for years. He definitely thought the moosehide was a good upgrade. They are more stylish than the deerskin - because they're more brown than the orange that deerskin tends to be. We also really liked the two-tone look of these slippers. Super soft, he loves the softsole for inside wear. I'm sure they're not water-resistant...but they're not supposed to be. He only wears them inside. Love them! He is really happy with them. Minnetonka is a wonderful brand. Well worth the money.

          Service and delivery comments:

          Had to return these for a half-size bigger. The customer service staff was very friendly and helpful on the phone...even two days after Christmas when I'm sure they were very busy. Got the return label emailed to me and sent them back the same day. Would definitely buy from hayneedle again.
