Being an optimist, this is third pair of L.B. Evans slippers I have purchased (in ever-larger sizes). I like their apperance, but, alas, none of them have been wide enough to remain easily on my feet. The last pair -- EEE and a size larger than my normal shoe size -- is something of an improvement, but not enough.

My husband is very hard to fit - wears a 10 or 10.5 EEEE. Needless to say, there's few shoes that will fit him. I got these for him and he says that are soft enough to "give" to his extra wide feet. I have bought others, even in this brand, that wouldn't near fit. I would buy one size longer - they seem to run short.

The size labeling is deceptive. The slippers I bought for my husband were by no means 12 EEE. We actually measured the width at its widest part and it was only 3 7/8 inches. (And that was the outside measurement). It's a great looking slipper and 12EEE is difficult to find. We were greatly disappointed and returned them.
