I bought these slippers as a gift for my brother's hospital stay for hip surgery. It was very important that he be as sure-footed as possible for his new walking experience. We couldn't have been more pleased. The rubber soles are perfect, and the looks and feel of the slipper, as well as the fit, are just great.

    The Imperial Deer Slip On Slippers by L.B. Evans are the only slippers that my 94 year old Dad has purchased and worn since he first "discovered" them about 15 years ago.... he won't wear or try any others! He loves them for their comfort, warmth, durabilty & classic appearance. He lives in an assited living facility and has trouble with intermittant swelling in his feet so has trouble getting regular shoes & socks on and off of them. His solution to this problem is to wear his slippers during all of his waking hours! Whether in his apartment, going down to the dining room, doctor's appointments or even when he occasionally goes out to dinner with a friend at local restaurants, his handsome deerskin slippers are on his feet giving him sufficient support (while the durable rubber sole gives the secure grip needed) to safely navigate wherever he goes! He has been and continues to be a very satisfied and enthusiastic L.B. Evans Slipper fan..... please don't ever change or drop this style!!

        My husbands other slippers were worn out so for his birthday....I read the reviews and originally ordered the 10, he wears a 10 1/2, but ended up with an 11 in the end. They are classy, and wearable "out", don't have that total slipper look and best of all he really loves them. Well worth the money!And the deerskin is really nice instead of suede, I think they will wear better.
