I use these for my summer house shoes, as we have hardwood floors throughout. Despite being all leather, they fit perfectly from the beginning (I have a wide foot and ordered 8W) and I have no foot or leg fatigue walking around in them all day. They are a little clip-cloppy as they have an open heel, but this is also what makes them so easy to slide on and off. If it's very hot, they can get a little sweaty on the bottom, but this would be true of any shoe without socks. I feel elegant when I wear them and am surprised how cushy they are while being very solidly constructed.

Ordered before, and usually purchase the same shoes for my mother every 2-3years. They last for a very long time when worn in the house :)

I owned a pair of the same style years ago but they were black velveteen trimmed with slim gold piping. I wore them until they literally disintegrated. Although these are almost exactly the same, they are not as soft as the former pair. Can't blame that on you though. Hoping with wear they will soften up some. Finely crafted.
