Frustrating, because I have already had to return [...] the first pair of slipper socks I ordered, the Acorns, which were incredibly scratchy. Now I have to return AGAIN for the XL -- and like the above reviewer, I also wear a size 8 1/2 shoe.

I SIMPLY LOVE THESE SLIPPER SOCKS. MY FEET ARE ALWAYS COLD IN THE WINTER EVEN THOUGH I LIVE IN SOUTHWEST FLORIDA. WE HAVE A LOT OF TILE IN THE HOUSE WHICH IS LAID ON CONCRETE FLOORS. THESE SOCKS KEEP MY FEET ALWAYS WARM AND COZY.

THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS THAT THEY ARE NOT TRUE TO SIZE. I ORDERED (L 8 - 9) AND HAD TO EXCHANGE THEM FOR XL (9 - 10). I WEAR AN 8-1/2 SHOE.

I bought 2 pairs..the garnet ones are great!
The blue pair came without being in a box, and Im wondering if they were a return and got sent out by mistake. Anyway, the blue ones stitching around the sole has come loose.
Im 67 yrs old, take care of my invalid husband, live in my slippers, but this pair just didnt hold up, sorry to say...The garnet pair, has like a foam sole which I like alot better.
